FORT McMURRAY — The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association has set the date for its annual general meeting.
The organization brings together Indigenous entrepreneurs, business leaders, industry partners and community members, with this year’s AGM scheduled for Oct. 9 at Summit GM in Fort McMurray.
The 2026 gathering will be held under the theme, “From Roots to Renewal: Strengthening Indigenous Business through Community and Connection.”
NAABA says the theme reflects the importance of honouring the foundations of Indigenous business in northeastern Alberta while embracing new opportunities for growth, collaboration and success.
The AGM will include organizational updates, member recognition, networking opportunities and announcements related to the future of the association.
NAABA describes the gathering as one of its premier annual events, bringing together established members, new business owners and community partners from across the region.
