FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating after three municipal bus shelters were heavily damaged in Eagle Ridge and Timberlea.
Police say Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo Transit reported the vandalism occurred between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on July 20.
The damaged shelters were located at Sparrowhawk Drive and Killdeer Way, Brett Drive and Blanchett Drive, and Eagle Ridge Gate and Sandpiper Road.
The locations correspond to bus stops 7024, 7058 and 7032.
RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed the vandalism or has surveillance footage from near the affected shelters during the time of the incidents to contact police.
