RCMP issue wanted notice for man believed to have ties to Fort McMurray

FORT McMURRAY — Alberta RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on outstanding warrants.

Police say Dorian August Kootenay is wanted in connection with a number of offences.

According to the Alberta RCMP, Kootenay’s last known location was Fort McMurray.

Mounties say he is known to frequent several communities, including Lac La Biche, Kikino, Smoky Lake County and the County of St. Paul.

Police are warning members of the public not to approach him.

The Alberta RCMP say anyone with information about Kootenay’s whereabouts should contact their local police service or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
