FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver involved in a hit and run early Thursday.
Police say officers responded around 2:41 a.m. Jan. 29 to a collision at Thickwood Boulevard and Cornwall Drive. A red Dodge Journey was travelling east in the westbound lane when it struck another vehicle head on.
RCMP say the driver exited the Dodge Journey, checked both vehicles and fled before police arrived. Emergency medical services attended the scene, but nSEO terms

The driver is described as a Caucasian male about five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, short brown hair, and a beard and moustache. He was wearing a jean jacket, dark pants and work boots.
Investigators believe the Dodge Journey will have extensive front end damage.
