Building Trades Alberta, social media post
FORT MCMURRAY — The Building Trades of Alberta is hosting an Indigenous Trades Career Fair in Fort McMurray on Thursday, offering Indigenous community members a chance to learn more about careers in the unionized skilled trades.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre in Ballrooms A and B.
The career fair follows the Building Trades of Alberta’s Weaving Network Symposium in Fort McMurray and will feature information about opportunities in unionized skilled trades.
Organizers say the event is intended to give Indigenous community members an opportunity to connect, ask questions and explore potential career paths in the trades.
The Indigenous Trades Career Fair takes place Oct. 22 at the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre in Fort McMurray.
