FORT MCMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking public assistance following the theft of construction tools and equipment from a work vehicle in Gregoire.
Police say a 2014 white GMC cube van was broken into while parked in the 300 block of Mackenzie Boulevard sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 18.
RCMP say the following items were stolen:
- 20-volt mitre saw
- 20-volt 18-gauge nailer
- 20-volt belt sander
- Laser level
- Various tool batteries
- Tool bag containing miscellaneous hand tools
- Stanley stud finder
- Tool cart or dolly
RCMP have not identified a suspect and are asking anyone with information about the theft or those responsible to contact Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4000 or 310-RCMP.
