FORT McMURRAY — Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking a Fort McMurray man wanted on a warrant for aggravated assault and several other charges.
Police say Mark Klemke, 41, is wanted following an investigation by the Wood Buffalo RCMP General Investigation Section.
The investigation began May 11 after police received a report concerning an alleged aggravated assault from September 2025.
RCMP say police were not aware of the alleged incident until it was reported in May. The accused and the victim were known to each other.
Investigators say additional alleged incidents were identified during the investigation.
Klemke is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and obstruction of justice.
He also faces three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
RCMP say Klemke’s whereabouts are unknown and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Police say he is known to frequent Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Calgary.
