Taking place on Saturday, August 2 from 11am to 4pm in beautiful kiyām Community Park, this open-air market will showcase the work of local artists, artisans, hand-crafters, and makers—all ACWB Members. Enjoy a summer afternoon of local shopping, food, and connection in the heart of our creative community. Come for the art, stay for the sunshine!

The 5th annual Acden Show & Shine in support of the Centre of Hope will be held on August 10, 2025, at Acden! Another large turnout of car enthusiasts, local residents, and members of the business community is expected in this day-long event with over 100 show vehicles and motorcycles. In addition to spectacular vehicles, there will be a delicious BBQ, the ever popular dyno, awards in 13 vehicle categories with customized trophies, draw prizes along with a kid’s zone, cultural zone, dunk tank, and vendors - fun for all ages! The event is FREE for spectators! Bring your family and friends! All proceeds from the Show & Shine go towards funding the Centre Of Hope's ‘Drop In’ which provides snacks, self-care items, clothing, and other necessities for those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo. It’s the only program at the Centre that relies solely on community funding, and it sees over 70 visitors a day, some of whom are repeat visitors that view the Centre as their home and family.
