Wood Buffalo RCMP have charged a 19-year-old Fort McMurray man after reports of 20+ dirt bikes and OHVs stunting and driving dangerously on Confederation Way and Tower Road on May 1.
When police tried to stop four bikes seen doing wheelies, the riders fled. One was later tracked with a drone and arrested behind O’Coffey Crescent. His bike was seized, and he faces charges of Dangerous Driving and Fleeing Police.
RCMP remind residents that OHV use is banned on Fort McMurray roads, trails, and green spaces—except in Abasand.
