WHAT IS SPORTFEST? SportFEST is a community celebration of sport that brings together local sport organizations, families, and newcomers to explore, experience, and enjoy a variety of sports. SportFEST will kick-off at Rock the Rails on June 7th, at 7pm and this free event is designed to introduce new participants to sport, encourage multi-sport involvement, and celebrate the many ways sport helps build community. Then SportFEST will continue on to a MONTH-LONG event that will provide the community with opportunities to experience different sports as TRY-IT-DAYS at sport organizations' locations for activities, open houses, tournaments, and more!  Download and complete the SportFEST Bingo Card HERE which will feature all the different participating sport organizations at Rock the Rails and the Try-it-Days. Join Wood Buffalo RCMP, RMWB Bylaw Services and Safe Community Wood Buffalo at the Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 14. The event will be held at the Wood Buffalo RCMP Detachment - 105 Paquette Drive Bring your bikes and helmets and participate in a skill-testing obstacle course in the parking lot of the detachment! There will be a free bicycle inspection and helmet exchange for expired, outgrown, or damaged helmets (available to child/youth (under 18), limit one per child/youth) There will also be a free BBQ and RCMP and Bylaw mascots will be on hand for this fun event. The event will run from 11am to 3pm with a sensory-friendly time 11am to 1130am- no lights, sirens, music or mascots out. Don't forget your bike and helmet!
