There’s already a horror movie about the Glasgow “Wonka Experience” coming. Because of course there is. If, somehow, you’re not aware of what made international headlines last week, here’s the basics. One of the very few characters even present at the bizarre event was a black-robed figure in a silver mask that has come to be known as The Unknown.

Expect an entire horror movie from Kaledonia Pictures – they told the outlet Bloody Disgusting the project is officially underway:

“The film, gearing up for production and a late 2024 release, follows a renowned illustrator and his wife who are haunted by the tragic death of their son, Charlie. Desperate to escape their grief, the couple leave the world behind for the remote Scottish Highlands – where an unknowable evil awaits them.
We are excited to begin production and look forward to sharing more with you as soon as possible. We are actually only a few miles from the event, so it is quite surreal to see Glasgow all over social media, worldwide.”

Expect Halloween costumes of The Unknown and the sad methlab Oompa Loompa later this year.
