What in The Wonka?

Willy Wonka Immersive Experience / Stuart Sinclair

This is bad… And honestly impressive that organizers could fail so spectacularly that the event ended in calls to the police. It’s about as bad as Homer Simpson’s dreams for Homerland were. A makeshift rainbow gate that just says “Factory” is the first impression, and it leads to a barren hall with a concrete floor. A few printed banners of AI-generated Wonka-esque art are tacked to the wall, there’s a Harry Potter Death Eater running around scaring kids to the point of crying, and the magical jelly bean station is staffed with with an Oompa Loompa who looks like she’s cooking meth again. Oh, and they ran out of jelly beans real quick after offering only a single bean and a cup of lemonade to visitors.

Honestly, it kind of takes the pressure off. You really have to achieve at failure to put on something THIS BAD.

Read ALL about it right here.
