Oil Sands Worker Running For Ward One Council

There is another name to know when it comes to ward one council.

Working in the oil sands since 2013, Tal Tupper is hoping to fill one of six seats.

From La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Tupper has worked for Shell and CNRL as a Mining Surveyor, officially moving to Fort McMurray in 2016 with his fiance.

Tupper’s hot button topics include through roads to Grande Prairie and Saskatchewan, which he says will lead to a multitude of benefits including accessibility and increasing the population.

He says improving communication with the government to the public and building a Fort McMurray that doesn’t need an Amazon.

Advance polls end Friday October 15th, with the election slated for Monday October 18th.
