Get ready to honk, beep and explore at the Show and Shine with Public Works, a fun and free event for the community to see the big machines that keep your region running.

On Tuesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the brand-new North Operations Centre (24 Silin Forest Road), get ready for an up-close look at snowplows, street sweepers and other mighty vehicles. In addition to vehicle displays, the event will feature family-friendly activities including barricade painting, a plant walk with guided signs and more.

Dates: August 12, 2025, and August 13, 2025
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sensory Friendly Hour: Offered on Wednesday, August 13 from 9 – 10 a.m. for families who prefer a quieter, low-stimulation environment.
Location: 24 Silin Forest Road, North Operations Centre.
Admission is free and no registration is required.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.
