A Malaysian stage magician set a new Guinness World Record by executing 17 illusions in just three minutes. Avery Chin shattered the previous record of 11 illusions, which was held by India’s Magician Alwin since 2023. During his record-breaking performance, Chin’s tricks included making objects vanish and reappear, manipulating giant playing cards, and creating polka-dots on a previously blank handkerchief.
“Breaking a world record is entirely different from a regular show,” Chin explained. “The challenge is tougher because you have to perform the magic quickly, accurately, and clearly. The most crucial part is adhering to the Guinness World Records guidelines without any mistakes.”
