A fatal housefire in the Chipewyan Prairie First Nation claimed one life on Thursday.
Wood Buffalo RCMP received a report of a residential fire in the community, just outside of Janvier, early Thursday morning.
EMS found the body of one victim inside the burned structure.
Police are saying the fire does not appear to be suspicious, but they are working closely with a provincial fire investigator to determine the cause.
