FORT McMURRAY — The Autism Society of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is being featured this month at the Fort McMurray International Airport as part of a community spotlight initiative.
The organization is highlighted in the airport’s Community in Focus display case, which showcases local non-profits and their contributions to the region.
Airport officials say the display aims to raise awareness about the work of community groups, with the Autism Society recognized for its efforts in advocacy, education and support for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
