Is everyone watching the same Stranger Things? Some of the reactions to the final season make me wonder if there’s a different Netflix than the one I’m subscribed to. It’s not that people need to LOVE everything about Season 5, but I do think people should actually watch a show if they intend to complain about it online. I certainly have my issues with the pacing and the general vibes of the grand finale to one of the flagship Netflix originals, but nothing about the story or the character arcs has been a surprise whatsoever. Specifically – if that revelation was actually a surprise to you.. you really haven’t been paying attention.
Regardless, whether it’s review-bombed by idiots or genuinely disliked based on creative or technical merit, it’s all over after tomorrow. And we’ve got the final look at the final episode to take us to the finish line.
