FORT McMURRAY — Residents across the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo can now nominate their favourite holiday light displays as the annual Nominate Your Neighbour program returns for the season.
The municipality is accepting submissions until Dec. 15 for homes and businesses with standout decorations. People can nominate a property by visiting rmwb.ca/NYN, entering the address and uploading a photo of the display.
All nominees will receive a recognition lawn sign and a certificate from the Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom committee. The municipality may also share photos of selected displays on its social media channels.
Nominate Your Neighbour is part of the local Communities in Bloom chapter’s work to promote community pride and beautification. More information about the program and related initiatives is available at rmwb.ca/CIB.
