Not a joke. Well, I think it’s meant to make us laugh more than give any frights, but I simply mean that it’s not JUST a punch line. They actually made a horror short, and it is a hilarious watch.
What if, before they figured out the CGI for those 90’s Gushers commercials, an overzealous commercial director tries to make a mark on the industry by turning to the dark arts to make an authentic fruit-headed kid? And what if that kid grew up and came back for sweet sweet revenge?
I love this so much, and encourage all brands to make entertainment out of their retro iconography. While not from any legitimate brand, I’m reminded a lot of “Every 90’s Commercial Ever“ from RocketJump.
