I let out an audible gasp while watching this trailer during the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase. That’s because I am a Fallout fan from way back, AND because they absolutely nailed the shot directly before the FALLOUT titles appear at the end. Like so many moments and sequences throughout the first season, it is a perfect match for some of the visuals from the many games. I’m impressed once again.
If you didn’t watch the journey of Lucy MacLean (played to perfection by Ella Purnell from Yellowjackets, Sweetpea, Arcane, etc.) from vault dweller to wasteland survivor there is still plenty of time to catch up on season one before the follow up arrives in December. Not for the squeamish.
No word on a new Fallout game just yet, other than confirmation that one is coming from Bethesda.
