FORT McMURRAY — With Landmark Cinemas continuing to recover from recent flooding, Keyano Theatre still has options for movie buffs to see movies on the big screen.
The theatre announced a series of screenings running from late March through mid-May, featuring family films, blockbuster franchises and classic titles.
The lineup begins March 26 with Zootopia and its sequel, followed by titles including Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame in early April. A family-focused slate on April 7 includes Tangled, Frozen and The Lion King, while additional screenings throughout April and May feature films such as Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Skyfall.
According to the schedule, showtimes are spread across afternoons and evenings to accommodate a range of audiences, with ticket prices set at $14.25 for adults and $11.50 for youth.
Organizers say concessions will be available on site and a multi-film discount pass is being offered to encourage repeat attendance.
The programming marks a return of regular movie screenings at the venue and provides an alternative entertainment option for residents as the community’s primary cinema remains impacted by flooding.
