FORT McMURRAY — RCMP in Wood Buffalo continue to ask for the public’s help in a weapons investigation following a road rage incident earlier this month.
Police say officers received a call around 9:10 a.m. on Feb. 18 reporting a confrontation between two drivers.
According to RCMP, the suspect followed the victim from the Timberlea area of Fort McMurray to the Abasand neighbourhood.
Police say the suspect then exited his vehicle and confronted the victim while carrying a sword, yelling that the victim had cut him off.
RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian man with a thin build, about five feet 10 inches tall and around 40 years old.
Police say the suspect left the area in a light brown 2002 Nissan Pathfinder.
