I was so confused while watching the first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters – the tie-in show for the Godzilla / Kong monsterverse from Legendary. Not because of the show, but because I was seeing people online poop on the program because they said there wasn’t enough giant kaiju monster action. Those people are crazy, because they loaded the show with expensive CGI footage alongside the very necessary human drama that elevates the show to being more than a fake wrestling match. A MORE fake wrestling match. You know what I mean.
That being said, I’m stepping off my soapbox and soaking in all the new footage revealed in the full trailer for Season Two of the show – starting February 27th.
