Formerly hailing from Fort McMurray, talented Cassandra Naud returns to reprise her role as CW following up the first Influencer movie from 2023. In the vein of the vain travel vlogs of today and the wild tropical thrillers of old (like The Beach), the bright and beautiful visuals slowly give way to tension, paranoia, and violence. In the tropical heat, the blood will boil.
This highly-anticipated sequel has been getting praise through the festival circuit, but it comes home to streaming on Shudder on December 12th. Huge congrats to Cassandra Naud and the entire cast and crew. I know a couple of the people behind the scenes on this one, and they deserve to be proud.
