Nope, nobody’s crying in the studio this morning. Certainly not. Why would anyone feel the urge to weep? It’s not like a new trailer for a long-awaited documentary about beloved Canadian comedy icon John Candy, and the sadness inherent to his untimely death at the young age of 43 was just posted by producer Ryan Reynolds.
Wait, that’s exactly what happened. The film is called John Candy: I Like Me, directed by Colin Hanks. And we are going to need every day from now until the tenth of October to get ready to experience this spotlight on the truly one-of-a-kind character.
