Hall is remembered for his dedication to public service and advocacy for mental health
FORT McMURRAY, AB. — Family, colleagues and community members gathered at Shell Place on August 28 to celebrate the life of Firefighter Captain Jordon Hall, a well-respected first responder remembered for his dedication, humour and unwavering commitment to others.
Hall, who passed away on August 8 at the age of 44, joined the Fort McMurray Fire Department in 2007 as a firefighter and primary care paramedic. He rose to the rank of Acting Captain and represented the department at the World Police and Fire Games in both Winnipeg and Alabama.
Speakers at the memorial highlighted Hall’s leadership within Regional Emergency Services, his active role in charity work and his efforts to build a stronger, healthier community. Colleagues said his laughter, encouragement and compassion were hallmarks of his career.
