Need to move your family out of the slums? Why not let everyone in the country try to hunt you down for TV prize money? That’s what Stephen King was thinking about in the early 80’s, and that’s why we got not only his book but the Arnold Schwarzeneggar movie adaptation of it that same decade. Fast forward a few decades and the premise has only become more relevant.
There are so many nice things to say about Edgar Wright and his films as well. (Is that Michael Cera??) I appreciate that this movie doesn’t look quite like anything Wright has put out before. Sure to be full of shocks and surprises, the new Running Man comes out November 7th.
