I was fortunate enough to catch the opening night of the latest major production from Keyano Theatre Company, surrounded by a very full and very entertained crowd.
You know the music already, coming from the soundtrack to the classic MGM technicolor marvel, but there’s an extra number you might not recognize that was cut from the original film. The singing is EXCELLENT across the board, the dancing was very impressive, and the staging and costumes and joy felt from on stage all followed suit. And every one of the people on stage are community members and volunteers sharing the love of theatre with us.
Keyano Theatre Company shows always have limited runs, but the world of mouth on this is going to travel fast, so lock yourself up a ticket or two while you still can.
