I know, it’s still way too early to be thinking about the Holidays in earnest. The new school year just started, we don’t need to be jumping to the new calendar year so quick. However.. we are very excited about the first whispers of a locally-produced Christmas Album.
Our friends at the Music Room at All In Sports Den have leveraged their position as a musical meeting point in town to gather a pile of very talented Fort McMurray/Wood Buffalo musicians and put this album together. Artists appearing on the tracks inside include Jeremy & Amanda Rice, Sociables, Dan Tulk, Top Shelf, Tyler Whelan, Crosswind, Chris and Andrew Pottie, Surface Below, Adam Budgen, Dale Fortier, Mike and Max, and Dan Gillies.
There will be a release party and everything, but details are scarce for now. For anyone in town looking to attend, all we know is the date – December 7th. For everything else, stay tuned.
