George Frandsen, who holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of fossilized poop (coprolites), has opened the Poozeum in Williams, Arizona. His collection, which started with 1,277 pieces in 2015, now includes 8,000 fossils. Initially a virtual exhibit and touring show, Frandsen’s collection now has a permanent home. He noticed a lack of coprolite exhibits in museums and decided to create the Poozeum, which is free to visit. Frandsen, who left his job and moved from Florida to pursue his passion, first became interested in fossilized poop at age 18.
