The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its annual Business Awards.
The awards honour outstanding companies and organizations within the local business sector. There are 10 categories of awards this year:
- Business Adaptation
- Corporate-Social Collaboration
- Emerging Entrepreneur
- Environment & Sustainability
- Female Leadership
- Hospitality & Tourism Business
- Indigenous Business
- Lifetime Business Achievement
- Youth Entrepreneur
- Franchise Business
“We are thrilled to spotlight the multifaceted businesses that define our region,” said Dianna de Sousa, Executive Director of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce.
“The awards serve as a platform to toast the success and accomplishments of our local enterprises, showcasing their significant contributions to our community.”
The Chamber says the awards are open to all businesses operating in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo, and self-nominations are accepted. However, previous winners must wait two years before being eligible for nomination in the same category again.
