The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is continuing its snow removal operations this week.

Winter Maintenance Zones 1 and 2 are being activated from February 5 to February 9, and on-street parking restrictions are in effect. The RMWB says they are conducting snow removal operations this week.

Snow removal operations are typically conducted once or twice per season and involve loading snow into haul trucks for removal to a snow disposal site.

Subzones 3 and 4 are relaxed and no winter parking restrictions are in effect.

The RMWB is reminding residents they can use the “Find My Zone” tool to check which sub-zone they live in, and what day to expect winter maintenance.
