Three men charged after multiple property crimes

Three men are facing charges after a string of thefts Thursday morning in Fort McMurray. 

Wood Buffalo RCMP first responded at 2:45 AM to multiple calls for a variety of property crimes, including theft, break and enter, and theft of a vehicle.

A White 2021 Toyota Tundra was reported stolen from Lindstrom Crescent as part of this incident. It was later located on Killdeer Way. 

Then between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, several break and enters and thefts were reported in the areas of Rosslyn Street, Rogers Crescent, Starling Street and Falcon Drive.

The suspects were seen by homeowners on surveillance cameras entering garages and sheds stealing tools, bicycles, money, and other personal belongings.

The suspects were seen leaving the area on foot, but are believed to be connected to the stolen vehicle on Lindstrom Crescent. The three suspects were located in the stolen truck. 

The men, ages 35, 28, and 23, all faces charges yet to be determined. The suspects cannot be named at this time.

  • Leaf blowers
  • Power drills
  • Electronics
  • Backpacks
  • Fuel, gift and financial cards
  • Garage door openers
  • Keys
  • Other assorted property

RCMP are still investigating the incident in an attempt to return the stolen goods back to their original owners.
