Police in Wood Buffalo have located and arrested a man in connection with the December 5^th murder of Russell Shott in Fort McKay.

Anton Grandjambe was arrested without incident last Thursday, December 28^th, 2023, by Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit at the Gregoire Lake First Nation, near Fort McMurray.

Police had been trying to locate Grandjambe since December 5^th, 2023.

Grandjambe is currently in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
