The RMWB is very happy with how the Santa Claus parade went on Dec. 2, 2023.
The event kicked off with a tree and tipi lighting for the first time at Kiyām Community Park.
Franklin Avenue then saw thousands of people line the street to watch the 39 floats go by.
The floats were decorated and lit up to create a beautiful scene for the holidays.
Five winners were selected such as Sparksman Transportation for best in commercial, Clearwater Horse Club for best in social service, and Heidelberg Materials got an honourable mention.
Fort McMurray Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Association also got an honourable mention and Badger Daylight received the Harvard Media Christmas Greeting Package.
The RMWB wants to thank local businesses and community groups who entered a float to celebrate the holidays.
