RCMP has one man in custody and is looking for another after a cocaine trafficking investigation.

A search warrant was executed on Nov. 17, 2023, at a home on Sparrow Hawk Green in Timberlea.

60.49 grams of suspected cocaine, with a street value of $8,300, was located by the Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section and the Crime Reduction Unit.

Other drug paraphernalia and $5,010 in Canadian currency were also found.

A 40-year-old male from Edmonton was arrested at the scene and is facing two counts of cocaine trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The additional suspect is a 29-year-old man from Edmonton and RCMP are currently working on a warrant for his arrest.

The 40-year-old man has been released on an Appearance Notice and will appear in court on Dec. 12, 2023.
