RCMP release new surveillance footage from attempted break and enters

Wood Buffalo RCMP is continuing the investigation into Monday’s attempted break and enters with the assistance of their Forensic Identification Unit and Crime Reduction Unit.

Police have obtained additional surveillance images showing a blue GMC Sierra Crew cab with a box cover which is believed to be associated with the three suspects. The vehicle may be the Sierra AT4 model.

Authorities are also looking for two additional suspects, believed to be females, who were in the blue Sierra truck.

The attempted break-and-enters occurred on Monday, Nov. 20 between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. in the Timberlea area.

Three male suspects kicked open or tried to kick open the front doors of people’s homes. In each instance, the suspects fled shortly after their attempts.
