Police investigate gunshots downtown

Wood Buffalo RCMP is continuing their investigation of gunfire in the downtown area.

In the early morning of November 9th, police received a complaint of multiple gunshots near the 100A block of Gordon White Avenue. Police say bullets hit several parked vehicles and a nearby building, but nobody was injured.

Several witnesses reported seeing a black pickup truck in the area at the time. The make and model of the truck are not yet known.

Police are asking residents and businesses to check for any surveillance footage that may assist in identifying the suspect(s) or suspect vehicle.
