The Wood Buffalo Food Bank and BGC Fort McMurray’s event, “The Haunting of Fort McMurray”, was spooktacularly charitable.

The four-day haunted house experience brought between 2,300-2,500 guests with around $20,000 raised to support both organizations.

Following the success of the event, the organizations are looking to develop and continue it as an annual event.

They are looking to expand it, making it more profitable to ensure a bigger impact against hunger and provide a safe, supportive space for children and youth to experience new opportunities, and develop confidence and skills for life.
