Dragons may visit you on Halloween night, but you’ll have to wait until November to see local start-up Kid Drop visit The Dragons.

Juliette Miranda and her company Kid Drop will be appearing on CBC’s The Dragon’s Den in late November. The local Entrepreneur is looking for investors to help her develop an app and grow her company even further.

Miranda visited the Dragon’s Den last April as they recorded Season 18 of the hit TV show.

“I can’t say too much until after the show airs about my experience, but I can admit that this was the scariest moment of my life,” said Miranda.

“I was on stage for almost one hour and I got to speak to each dragon multiple times.”

Dragons’ Den is a CBC program where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of wealthy investors, known as “dragons,” in hopes of securing funding and mentorship. The dragons ask questions and negotiate deals, often leading to dramatic moments and successful partnerships.

“Economic Development and Startup YMM have been a huge part of our success; from workshops, accelerators, conferences, and the trip to Toronto,” said Miranda.

“I am happy to have made it on air and excited to share our Fort McMurray startup with Canada.”

The show is scheduled for November 23rd and airs on CBC. You can also stream the episode online through CBC Gem.
