Curbside collection for yard waste is set to end at the end of the month.

Up to four bags of yard waste can be placed at the curb each week for collection until Oct. 27, 2023.

The waste will need to be in brown paper bags and placed beside your bins before 7:30 a.m. on collection day.

Grass clippings, leaves, flowers, weeds, culled plants, and twigs less than 30 centimetres in length can be placed in the bags.

The final date may change if the region experiences heavy snowfall.

If you miss your last collection day, or still have yard waste past the date, it can be dropped at the landfill year-round at no charge.
