Wood Buffalo Community Foundation to host Lieutenant Governor of Alberta

The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta will be visiting Fort McMurray in October.

Her Honour, Salma Lakhani Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, will be part of a lunch hosted by the Wood Buffalo Community Foundation.

The event called “Empowering Dreams and Building Communities,” aims to celebrate the power of community and creating a stronger Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.

Tareq Hadhad Founder and CEO of Peace by Chocolate will be the keynote speaker sharing his insights on how entrepreneurship and immigration work together to help build societies.

The event is open to everyone and takes place on Friday, October 13th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Shell Place Ballroom.
