Opening Ceremonies for Baseball Canada’s 18U National Championships and 13U Western Championships are set for August 16th.
The Regional Recreation Corporation is inviting everyone to attend the event free of charge.
The ceremonies begin at 6:00 p.m. on August 16th at Legacy Dodge Field, with gates opening at 5:15 p.m.
Both tournaments are taking place in Fort McMurray, between August 17th to the 20th.
The 18U National Championships have ten teams of elite athletes from across Canada vying for the top spot, while the 13U Western Championships have eight teams competing for the prize.
While the Opening Ceremonies are free to attend, spectators wishing to see the games live can purchase both day and tournament passes through the MacDonald Island Park website.
