Wood Buffalo RCMP looking for suspects in credit card fraud

Wood Buffalo RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects linked to fraudulent use of a credit card.

The two unknown suspects used a commercial credit card to purchase over $10,000 worth of fuel at various locations in Fort McMurray and elsewhere in Alberta.

RCMP said the incidents happened on April 2, 2023, and again on May 8, 2023.

The suspects are believed to be associated with a white Nissan Rogue with an Alberta License plate, a red Ford F150 or F250 with a large in-bed fuel tank, and a black flat deck trailer with a black and blue Polaris UTV.

RCMP obtained surveillance footage of the suspects involved and their associated vehicles.
