Ontario police charge Fort McMurray man with luring teen girls

The Timmins Police Service in Ontario has issued a warrant for a Fort McMurray man charged with allegedly luring three teen girls.

The police service has charged Jordan White, 27, with three counts of luring a person under 16, two counts of communicating with a person under 18 for the purpose of obtaining sexual services, and two counts of procuring under 18.

Police say these charges stem from incidents in September 2022 where a number of teen girls in Timmins were contacted on social media for a sexual purpose.

The service is also aware of the accused’s arrest on June 1 by the Internet Child Exploitation unit in the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) based on similar charges alleged to have been committed in Alberta.
