Municipality sets up temporary measures in Grayling Terrace due to ongoing rainfall

With the recent spate of rainfall, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo says the Hangingstone River and Saline Creek are flowing extremely quickly.

The municipality has erected temporary mitigation measures near Grayling Terrace including water-filled dams along with sandbags.

The RMWB is asking you to please stay away from the banks of these rivers in the Pearson Drive and Grayling Terrace area.

With more rain expected to fall today, the municipality says they are actively monitoring the water levels of Saprae Creek, the Hangingstone River, as well as Saline Creek.

The municipality says residents can follow their website for updates.
