Fuse Social is announcing the winners of the Heart of Wood Buffalo Awards.
Over 60 individuals and groups were nominated in eight categories. This past Wednesday, the winners were announced at the Heart of Wood Buffalo ceremony.
Now in their twelfth year, the awards recognize the value of social impact and community throughout Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo.
“It is always a pleasure to gather each year for the Heart of Wood Buffalo Excellence Awards to celebrate the many remarkable individuals and organizations in Wood Buffalo,” says Michelle Lange, Interim Executive Director of FuseSocial.

Collaboration of the Year Award: Wood Buffalo 2023 Arctic Winter Games
Honorary Community Recovery and Prosperity Award: Guy Coquet
