Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is announcing the 2023 Award of Excellence recipients.

Nermin Zukic, Chair, and Instructor for Business at Keyano College was honoured with The Leadership Excellence Award.

The commendations recognize best practices and individual achievements from colleges and institutes across the country.

“I consider myself fortunate and privileged to work with a group of dedicated and motivated educators in Keyano’s Business Department,” says Zukic.

Zukic holds a Doctor of Education from Columbia University as well as an MBA from Western University. He has been with Keyano College for nearly seven years.

“Nermin has brought so much of his diverse experience to Keyano College,” says Dr. Sandra Efu, Vice President of Academics and Student Experience.

This year’s awards were announced at World Congress – a global event co-hosted by CICan and the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics.

The congress brings together postsecondary leaders worldwide to discuss, share, and expand their collective intelligence.
