Fuse Social is announcing nominations are open for the Heart of Wood Buffalo awards.
The annual awards honour the achievements of organizations and individuals who embody the spirit of community through their leadership, innovation, and capacity-building efforts.
“The Heart of Wood Buffalo Excellence Awards is one of our most celebrated events of the year,” says Shannon Rex, Executive Director of FuseSocial.
“We can’t wait to come together in celebration of what we know will be another year of outstanding nominees.”
This year there will be eight categories of recognition:
- Board Leadership Award
- Social Profit Leadership Award
- Community Impact Award
- Philanthropy Award
- Volunteer Recognition Award
- Newcomer Engagement Award
- Collaboration of the Year Award
- Excellence in Social Innovation Award
To submit a nomination, visit heartofwoodbuffalo.ca and fill out the nomination form on the desired award page.
The nomination period will end on Monday, March 13 at 6:00 PM. Tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, March 20.
The awards ceremony is set to occur on June 7th at Shell Place.
